Join the AIASF Health + Science Committee for a discussion on the current state of OSHPD seismic compliance challenges faced by healthcare providers in California, presented by Jorn Halle and Gordy Wray of Degenkolb Engineers. Many healthcare providers in California are reviewing their seismic compliance plans for potential benefits from SPC-4D. OSHPD is updating regulations for NPC work. Jorn and Gordy are assisting owners across the state with these evaluations and having conversations about how the changing categories can impact their programs.

This seminar follows the Hospital Building Safety Board release of final draft Express Terms for proposed 2019 California Administrative Code, Title 24, Part 1, Chapter 6, which introduces the NPC-4D provisions.
About the Speakers
Jorn Halle, Senior Principal and Healthcare Practice Area Leader, has provided SB1953-related Seismic Compliance consulting service since the inception of the program in 1998. He is currently leading Degenkolb’s SPC-4D efforts which cover close to 100 SPC-4D projects currently in progress.
Gordy Wray, Associate Principal at Degenkolb Engineers, has 15 years of experience in healthcare structural engineering and is currently managing multiple SPC-4D and NPC-4D seismic evaluations and upgrades.
