Join the AIASF Health + Science Committee for a tour of the recently completed Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital (LPCH) Phase II Expansion at Stanford University Medical Center, hosted by HGA and Perkins+Will.
LPCH is expanding to accommodate the growing needs of infants, children and expectant mothers who seek the hospital’s advanced care and research. The expansion, which will include a new main building, adds 521,000 square feet to the approximately 300,000-square-foot existing hospital. Scheduled to open in 2017, the new facility will optimize the hospital’s services and infrastructure, adding more beds, private rooms, state-of-the-art operating suites, family-friendly amenities and the flexible floor space the hospital needs to adapt to new technologies and streamline services.
The Design Team is HGA Architects and Engineers as Executive Architect and Medical Planning in association with Perkins + Will as Design Architects. DPR Construction is the CM/Contractor.
